And then I uh myself, I feel like maybe Lee am a little bit more empathetic to this uh the wishy-washy of the evidence here because I have ulcerative colitis.

Um and when I went through my diagnostic uh process, I got so much conflicting information.
One doctor would say, Oh, it doesn't matter what you eat.
Right.
Right.
Another doctor would say, Oh, you definitely shouldn't eat uh gluten.
And then I'd see someone else be like, oh, it doesn't matter again.
And then
One doctor gave me a cookbook and I was like, Well which one is it?
Like does it matter or it doesn't?
Anyways.
Um, and so I think uh from that experience, I never want to discount someone else's experience and is uh a little bit of a bias that I have.
Right.
And so the reason that they think that this might be a good option is because of the gut brain connection, which is not my area of expertise, but is something that is like an active area of research and people are interested in within the autism space.
Um, but it is not proven.
Uh and l as I said, the evidence is sort of mixed.
Uh some sh studies are showing a benefit.
