And it's extraordinarily exciting.
We did it with hospital systems in the midst of COVID where I wasn't the person providing the intervention.
And what we looked at, and we looked at multiple interventions, but basically when people
did try to create a work routine together that was positive and realized that they weren't alone, that that attempt to do it together dramatically lowered burnout rates in the midst of COVID in the same hospital system where burnout rates were skyrocketing because we did department by department.
So we could see how beliefs could change even in places where we thought the story couldn't change, that the only narrative was that stress is tearing us apart and that we're alone.
So I think it's a brilliant critique.
It's the same one you use for give and take, right?
Which is, it's great to be a giver, but at some point you don't want to give too much.
Those people actually suffer at work.
