I I I don't love the politics of these major sports leagues.
I don't, okay?
Like I it's it's not my favorite thing, but I'm a sports guy, I've always been a sports guy.
And after September 11th, sports played.
A huge role a in bringing people together, bringing people out, you know, these large gatherings.
People were somewhat afraid about the large gatherings because of a terror attack.
And it gave people an outlet.
It gave people a a place where you could channel all of that grief and all of that negativity and just and you could just go to a baseball game and just and just forget for a minute.
You know, Dan was talking about how he went fishing for the first time in forever.
I heard him on the other on his show the other day.
And you know how uh for a little bit of time you just you're just focused on fishing.
You're focused on on what you're doing, you're casting your line, you're catching fish.
Or maybe you're not catching fish.
The cliche is a bad day of fishing, beats a good day of anything else, right?
And that's generally true.
So I'm a Jets fan, right?
Like it's not an enjoyable experience to watch the Jets play, but I like sports.
And for those of you who are from New York, or maybe you're big baseball fans, you know where I'm going with this.
But the uh the New York Mets, when they back when they played in Shea Stadium, right in Flushing, Queens, so one of the boroughs of New York City, hit very hard by 9-11, fire department families, et cetera, NYPD families, et cetera.
