I would say that a lot of the space stuff at the beginning is, you know, it's a little shoddy work here and there, but also, you know, you're watching this on Blu-ray, right?
And you're gonna it's gonna point out these flaws.
So um, but to me, the practical effects absolutely still hold up.
Well you talk about streamlined and I think that's what maybe you would say to the second act, right?
The first and second act.
kind of flow very seamlessly.
It's it's engrossing, right?
Everything at the research laboratory is pretty interesting.
And at some point, like we had mentioned, many things are dropped that are never picked back up.
And and there then it becomes this kind of mystery film, right?
Like because then you find out that these space vampires can take the uh bodies of other people and become them, right?
So almost like the thing or something when basically they're possessing these
bodies and they and they kill the you know the person in doing that.
So now we become like invasion the body snatchers type movie and they're trying to track.
So I I think if you're not paying attention at this point, you will be lost.
Terribly lost.
So so many things are happening following the second act and it's establishing itself as this mystery.
They're trying to find, you know, the new body that she's taken.
And if you're not paying attention at this point, you will be lost easily because it's going in so many different directions.
What you can do to appreciate that is kind of sit back and be like, you know, a admire the craziness of it all, because it's really it's a manic film.
