You can't, you can't.
What you have to do is if I rewind 20 years or 15 years or 10 years, pick a number, you have to just all along the way continue to
latch on to, seek out, and be relentless in trying to get people around you that are good people.
You talk about it in the book, like John Mackey.
I love how he puts it, right?
If we can spend our lives building something of purpose with good people, you know, we could spend a lot of time defining what that means, good people.
Like, is there a better way to live your life on earth, right?
And that's how I feel.
And so, yes, the people have evolved and their levels have evolved and whatever, but all along the way, I had good people.
They're just different people today that have different capacities to do different things that are demanded of a company that's now the size of Lovesac, which, by the way, on the one hand, is quite large.
On the other hand, we're dinky.
We're nothing.
We're pipsqueak.
We're barely on the map.
It all depends on perspective, right?
It's a great prompting.
And, you know, it's funny.
My only other real job outside of Lovesack, I mention it briefly in the book, I had this chance to take an internship in Shanghai, China.
So I speak Mandarin Chinese.
I learned it being a missionary.
