Like, Zeev Bulliam has been really great in Minnesota and been exactly what they need on the back.

And I think Sam Renzel looks sick in Chicago.

I'm looking at Schaefer and Demidov because Demidov, we know, is really good.

He's one of the most skilled prospects that the Canadians had, and you're seeing it come together.

He's smart, the way he sees the ice.

He can actually execute.

He's just super crafty, and he's exactly what they need below that top line that just dominated play last year.

But Schaefer...

i mean he comes in and it's tough again first overall pick it's tough for defensemen as first overall picks you look at guys like daleen it doesn't always work um right off the bat but to me he comes in he looks confident he brings so much pace to the islanders which they need he is creative he operates at such a fast speed and you're just seeing everything the islanders don't have when he's out there just crushing it and i don't know 26 minutes a game so i am absolutely pumped about this rookie race

I think it's going to be like a good faith thing here.

Like if if he were to leave, I feel like it'll be like a mutual parting of ways and not firing him.

Like I think they at this point, they had to know what they were getting in him because it's not just, oh, this is what he was for the Sabres before.

But this is what he's done since, you know, in New Jersey.
