The ruling reverses a lower court's temporary injunction against the ban. A group of service members challenging the policy say it is unconstitutional and motivated by hate.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem says travelers without real ID may be directed to another line at U.S. airports. She told a congressional panel that passports and tribal identification will also be accepted at security checkpoints.
