Morgan Scali is the guy who would be recognized as the guy afterwards.

So I think that he has ultimate credibility.

I think he has ultimate buy-in.

I think that Utah is going to be fine, even if there are some growing pains at first.

I would say, right, like, I mean, I think that everybody in Ames knew that

We are on a rocket ship right now, and it's going to last as long as Matt Campbell is here.

And when that goes, that might be it, right?

And, I mean, you go back.

I mean, I was going back and looking at, you know, Gene Shizik's record from, you know, whatever, 15 years ago.

And, I mean, it's jarring, right, what this program was for such a long time.

I mean, this is one of the losingest programs in the history of college football ever.

I think they made a good hire in Jimmy Rogers coming in from Washington State and South Dakota State.

But...

there's just no guarantee that anybody will be able to elevate the program consistently to the level that Matt Campbell did.

I think, again, they built up some good infrastructure.

They're more invested than they've been in a long time.

But, like, I really do think that Matt Campbell was a little bit of a miracle worker there.

And while I don't think they're going to fall back to 2-10 every other year, I do think that this is a team that's going to go from having winning records all the time to one that's probably fighting for bowl eligibility.

Yeah, I'm fascinated, right?
