So they have a couple of guys on campus with a little bit of experience.
And here's the reality of the situation too, is that Texas Tech has arguably the easiest schedule in the big 12 this year, despite being arguably the highest quality team.
So this is really, I think, less the question of what is Will Hammond on September 1st.
It's more of a question of do you feel okay about what Will Hammond can be by November 30th and heading into the college football playoffs.
So I think that they'll probably stand pat.
Again, they have three or four other quarterbacks in that room.
But certainly, I mean, when you talk about
the proven experience of Brendan Sorsi versus the level of inexperience in the room, it's a damper on what this team can be, not just in the Big 12, but also if they were to make the college football playoff.
Yeah, I think that Utah is going to be fine.
I mean, it definitely was supposed to be a clean handoff to Morgan Scali, and it will be not that because of bringing Jason Beck as his offensive coordinator, bringing a whole bunch of defensive coaches as well.
But this is a program that I think has built up some solid infrastructure over the years.
They've invested in a big way.
they retained a whole lot of their player acquisition and scouting staff, which I think is a huge part of what they do.
So I think that eventually they will be okay.
I mean, this roster should still be very good, even in 2026, even though I think it'll be relatively diminished versus what it could have been.
So, you know, again, they have been a program that have identified assistance, uh,
when it's been time, right?
I mean, Urban Meyer comes through.
Kyle Whittingham is understood as the guy that'll take over afterwards.
