I don't know if it's, I even hesitate to say if it's the biggest story right now.

It feels like the biggest story.

I can't figure out how much is leverage, how much is negotiating through the media, but there is this referee situation right now where their contract's going to be up at the end of May and the NFL is adamant that they are getting like replacement officials ready here.

And this could end up being obviously a massive story if an agreement doesn't get done by the time we get to week one.

It also could end up being a nothing burger if an agreement does get done.

Yeah, on one hand, my initial impression here, reading about this story, hearing about the story was that just like, this is what the NFL does.

They're just gonna put the screws to anybody they're in negotiations with.
