So we're going to discuss if we all agree or if we disagree with these 10 reasons why women join sororities.
Before we jump in, can you guys like tell me a little bit about why you joined a sorority without knowing the 10 reasons yet?
When you went into a sorority, maybe give me like the top three, two to three reasons why it was like important for you to join Greek life.
For me, this might be like, I don't know, a niche thing for some groups.
But so I rushed my sophomore year and I'm an athlete at my school.
Anyone who's an athlete just knows that athlete culture is just so tight knit and it's very hard to get out of.
And especially going to, like, a super large school, too.
It kind of just sometimes feel like a school within a school.
So, for me, and, like, I come from a very, very small team.
We only have about, like, 20 girls and guys.
So, like, I kind of had a huge reflection sophomore year, like, going into my sophomore year that, like, I just – I needed to, like, meet more people.
I needed to branch out more.
Like, I needed to have kind of a group of friends who –
kind of gave me like a something different compared to just like athlete culture.
And I felt like kind of rush was like the easiest thing to kind of like jump into, especially if you go to like a super large public school, like it's hard meeting friends just in like classes or I don't know, just walking around.
So like, I felt like rush was definitely like the best way to see, like, let's see if I can fit in anywhere.
Um, yeah.
