So you jumped out of the plane.

And for those who've never jumped out of a plane, which I would say that's the vast majority of people, I've never ever thought I wanted to ever jump out of a perfectly good plane at all.

So I mean, that takes courage in and of itself, Carol.

You jumped out of the plane.

How far down was it that you were supposed to pull your parachute?

So part of your body went three and a half feet into the ground.

Wow.

Oh, yeah.

Oh, my goodness.

I mean, I'm reading here you had a broken pelvis, multiple broken ribs.

Both of your legs were severely fractured.

One common fracture, punctured lung and a concussion.

And you had to have 26 surgeries.

I mean, oh, my goodness.

Wow.

So I wasn't aware that bone could grow like that.

Did they have to give you something to make the bone do that or?

Those are your tattoos of valor.
