I think it's disgusting, ridiculous, pompous, and a lot of other bad things.

I do not like it at all.

Well, thank you for having me.

And the earlier segment with my friend Adrian Fontes illustrated the stakes.

We must win control of the U.S.

Senate in November because we must protect democracy and stand up to Donald Trump and hold big corporations and billionaires accountable and fight for the working class.

I think I'm the best candidate to unite Mainers because I have that progressive background.

I am a fighter, whether it was my time as head of the ACLU, as a leader on marriage equality, and as Secretary of State fighting to protect democracy and your voter data.

But also, I'm working class.

I grew up as a carpenter's daughter without electricity or running water in down East Maine.

And as a senator who represented a district that voted for Trump and voted for me and as secretary of state, I have a tradition of working across the aisle, building strong coalitions to get things done.

So I think I'm the best candidate to unite the party and win in November.

So I took on that race in 2014, a very different year because no one else wanted to.

And I've never backed down from a tough fight.

I went on after that to win a competitive district that voted for Trump and voted for me.

And I led sponsoring the Green New Deal and getting it passed in the state Senate and getting reelected in that conservative district twice.

I've never abandoned my progressive ideals.

And in this most recent primary, it was ranked choice voting.

And for a lot of your viewers who may not be familiar, the data shows that I came in second because I was the number one, number two vote getter across the board, as well as being in that top cluster of number one vote getters.

So I have the broadest popular support from all parts of the party.
