Supreme was going up and street wear.

It's almost like, you know, you can be associated with something that you don't even identify with.

And the, you know, the wave just carries it.

It's part of the zeitgeist.

And we had that around 2014.

And we intentionally discontinued all the styles that the schwag kid was wearing.

gravitating towards.

Shut up.

And it's because if you don't do that, then you become associated with something that everyone's ashamed of afterward.

We go like, oh, we all loved it five minutes ago, but now it was the worst thing that ever happened to humanity.

And you have to do something to change the course.

You've got a window of what's hot, and then you've got to get the fuck out.

But it's always, in the 90s, people were embracing bell bottoms and stuff from the 70s.

And the people from the 70s, like my parents, were saying, you know, we have photos of us wearing that stuff that we removed from the scrapbook because we were so embarrassed.

And then in the early 2000s, indie rock hipsters were wearing members-only jackets.

And the guys in the 80s that wore members-only jackets were like,

Skate or die, sissy, I'll beat your fucking ass, you know?

So you remove the cultural context for people, and then it just is like they can project whatever they want onto it, and it's something different.
