Sorry to grab the mic from you, but I think there's something that we all have in common, which maybe is pretty important, which is you grew up
not spoiled not rich right uh i didn't grow i didn't grow up rich i definitely didn't grow up rich but i think anyone on the internet would think i didn't grow up poor like i got a car when i was 16 so whatever that is but but there's a big difference between being poor poor and being somebody that actually still has to work for stuff yes yes yes i i had jobs i'm from a
solidly middle-class family, but my parents were so frugal and it was part of the reason they were successful.
But they just, you know, like I had to wear tough skin, so I didn't get Levi's, which was so embarrassing.
But then you realize, you find out at an early age how shallow people are and you figure out how to deal with it.
The thing of having to work for stuff that you want, whether it's the Motley Crue CD or my parents said, only...
juvenile delinquents, drug addicts, skateboards.
So if you want a skateboard for your birthday, you have to earn half the money.
A skateboard, even back then, was 120 bucks for a complete.
They never thought I could earn 60 bucks.
So mowing lawns and painting the porch to earn the 60 bucks, they were like, fuck it, earn the 60 bucks.
See, I had it so bad it was a push mower for me.
No gas.
