And I was sort of playing into that in a fun way, made stickers for friends.

I had a fake ID, so I put them up at the clubs where I went to see music.

I put them on stop signs.

I put them at skate spots.

The next thing you know, this local free paper, the Providence equivalent of the LA Weekly,

Yeah, I was in art school.

Put a sticker in the paper, like a Xerox of it, and said, anyone who can tell us what the Andre the Giant has a posse sticker is about wins tickets to the living room show of your choice.

And the living room was where I saw the Ramones, Jane's Addiction, Suicidal Tendencies, Primus, and

I was like, damn, I want those tickets, but I can't tell them who I am.

So I wrote a handwritten letter.
