Um, that becomes a crime now. matched

Uh they they passed a bill supposedly honoring Charlie Kirk and free speech, but it you know, there's some uh matched

hang ups about what that actually does on college campuses. matched

Also, some concerns that this legalizes discrimination by student groups on college campuses. matched

Uh, and of course, there's some irony here that they're telling students at the K-12 level that they're not allowed to protest while uh saying that if you're on a college campus, you have to be allowed to say whatever you want. matched

Um, there are a couple of anti-abortion bills that they overrode the vetoes on. matched

I think the most egregious is one that uh will matched

require the State Department of Health and Environment to deliver false information that is actually harmful to women about supposedly being able to override uh a medication abortion. matched

Uh and then there's this housing bill we've talked about before that um you know landlords wanted to uh be able to disregard the the assistance that people get for housing. matched

You have either veterans or other programs where you get government assistance to pay for housing, to pay for your rent. matched

Landlords want to be able to say, um, this means you're poor and we won't we don't want you in our place. matched

The city of Lawrence had an ordinance that said you have to recognize that as income when you're looking at their overall income. matched

Um, this was litigated a couple of times. matched

Landlords lost both those cases, so they turned to the legislature with some. matched

uh supposed threats about leaving the States, although, you know, the the one that's really behind this, who owns a ton of property in Lawrence and elsewhere, I think is also the voice of the Wildcats. matched

Hard to believe that he would actually leave the State if they refused to do this, but they were able to override that veto anyway. matched
