Um this came up of course during the uh the vote the the veto override vote on the anti matched

Um this was used more than a dozen times in the the House this year, uh mostly on the floor, sometimes matched

in committees where um you know somebody starts to s to to get a little mean and and hurt the Republicans' feelings and so they say, oh no, you can't hurt our feelings, you're impugning our motives, you have to stop this. matched

And it's an effective tool for putting Democrats on their heels, making them defensive about what they're saying, uh, and really altering the course of that debate. matched
