Like ever every team in the major leagues would be worried about that and should be worried about that.
But it doesn't sound like it's anything long term.
And the way that Dylan Sees was talking about it was that, you know, he has figured out some things about workload and how to rest himself and that he might have just fatigued himself over the course of the year.
Um, and is is it pitch count?
Is it
You know, like you you think about how hard he throws and the like there were starts where he was averaging ninety-eight and a half miles an hour this year, which is insane, right?
But does he need to be throwing that hard?
Now he doesn't he talked about how easy it's been for him traditionally in his career to get to that velocity, that he hasn't had to max effort his way to that.
Uh, but he also pointed out that he's learned that he doesn't need that velocity, that he's he's more he knows how to pitch more now than he did beforehand.
And so is he able to maybe throttle down the velocity, you know, say sit 96 as opposed to ninety-eight and
And does that preserve him longer over the course of the season?
Uh that that'll be part, that'll be among the things that he's thinking about, that the Blue Jays are thinking about with him, uh, in terms of how to best ensure this doesn't happen again next year.
Uh, but is there some concern?
I mean, how could there not be?
It's the first year of uh that seven-year deal uh and
And it ended uh or it likely to have ended with uh with him experiencing some shoulder fatigue and a significant drop in his velocity.
Like that's not gonna be comfortable for anybody, I think, until it's back to opening day next year and he's at ninety seven, ninety eight again.
