Look, whenever you go through something difficult with somebody and you come out the other side of it, there's usually a bit more of a bond in that relationship, right?
Where because you've been challenged and you're still together, you kind of see different parts of each other.
Uh I I did think, you know, for Vladimir Guerrero Jr.
to say, you know, I I respect him a lot and I love him a lot.
I mean, you know, that that can't be a bad thing, right?
He's he's he's really telling you.
What his feelings are.
And he's not throwing those words around lightly, right?
He's not just saying that for the sake of saying that.
So
I think that that piece of it's important.
Uh I think ultimately where that might matter is when the Blue Jays sit down with Guerrero in the off season and say, Okay
We're gonna put together a plan for how to get you back to be the MVP caliber player you should be.
There is that element of trust there, which matters, right?
Because if you you can have the best message in the world, but if it's coming from a messenger that doesn't carry any weight with the recipient, you know, that message is going nowhere.
So having that trust, you know, if if Schneider becomes the conduit through which the changes that Guerrero will inevitably need to make and the adjustments he's going to need
To make take place this winter, then I think that'll be a benefit of that relationship.
But, you know, if and and I do think Guerrero is going to be open to that.
And i he sounds like someone who wants to take what the Blue Jays are going to give him this offseason.
