named a starter for tomorrow at least right now we'll see if that i mean once he i find what often happens is he finishes speaking to the media he goes talks to whoever he needs to talk to you and then they announce the starter at some point here right so maybe we will find out before we get out of here but you know i mean you could start fisher again we've seen that before i mean he has he will pitch if he didn't pitch today so if he pitches tomorrow it'll be three and four days but
He only threw 15 pitches on Friday through six on Thursday.
So he get Fisher out there.
I suppose.
I mean, Macko opened the last time he threw 30 pitches on Friday, but had not pitched prior to that on Tuesday.
So, I mean, if you want to continue with the idea that you're opening for Spencer miles, I suppose you could go with one of those.
I mean, could you go with a Hayden Yinger opener?
I don't have no idea.
Yeah, so maybe not.
But it seems like Fisher, Mako, maybe even a Fluharty might be the options there for the open.
And you just kind of need Spencer Miles to give you some length in a bulk role.
And then after that, it's a big fat question mark, I think, based on what happened today.
Right.
Justin, I appreciate the call.
Thanks for joining us.
And yeah, look, I mean, John Schneider has, you know, no pun intended, gone to bat for Hoffman.
And you mentioned this earlier, Nick, multiple times over the course of, I mean, last year when he ran into a spot of trouble, and then certainly this year, and then right up until the point where he was effectively removed permanently from the closer's role.
And then, you know, it did feel like they were like incrementally
creeping, not, not back towards him being the closer, but him being trusted as the next highest leverage guy next to Rogers and Varland.
And I think a lot of people felt okay with Hoffman in, you know, the seventh inning, for example, I am, there was some text here.
