That feels like an example of that, how laissez-faire he was with those issues.
And I'm not sure I totally buy it.

He missed by a mile on those pitches, and to do it twice in a row, after hitting only four guys in all of last season, it's never been a problem for him before.

Maybe he has full faith and he'll just keep rolling Hoffman and he'll turn it around.
Like I said, I believe he will at a certain point, but it sure doesn't really look like it'll be soon.
But Schneider seems to believe it will.
It looks like the Yankees are, you know, they're kind of a half step ahead of everyone else at this point.
We know they got off to a great start.
They fell back to earth and now they're rolling a little bit again.
And then you got this middle group with the Rays, the Orioles and the Blue Jays and the Blue Jays really to make up the ground properly.
You need to play these teams and play them well, and they haven't really had a chance to do that yet, but they have the Tampa Bay Rays coming up a couple times in the next little bit.
You're going to get the Orioles as well.
And again,
that is the best opportunity.
