you look at andy carroll coming coming on and and the reaction that you get from that but the question i i want to ask is you know would that happen if they didn't have obviously the transfer embargo you know that's that's the thing you know for me it's you know it's it's important that you know you invest the news and they've spent a lot of money uh investing in their academy and it's great to see the fruit of that now there's a rumor going around they've asked for the transfer ban to be another year

You need a manager whose ethos is bringing the youth through.

Obviously, Frank went to Derby and obviously had a successful time there.

But you need a manager who can coach these young players.

And you need players that actually are ready to go.

Obviously, these guys have been on loan a few times.

And I think that's the key.

You look at Tammy Abraham last season, scoring 25 goals in the Championship.

that's a confidence that he needed to be able to do what he's doing now.

It's not just about you just grabbing them from the academy.

They do need experience.

And obviously, that's where the loan system... Well, that's what you do here, isn't it?

Yeah, Loan Management is here, and that's what you want.

You want to try and help...

help the young players who are coming through the academy who aren't quite ready for the first team to go out and experience first team football it's a it's a you know 23 foot was a long long long way away from from first team football so if you can get them out to the right places and in the right environment then that's the key get them in the right environment what do you mean by the right environment

Yeah, certainly at Newcastle in the past, players have been going out on loan, maybe not suiting the style of play that we want the players to play or not the right environment for that type of player.

So obviously I've come in to try and make that transition easier for the players, making sure they go to the right place, making sure that they're looked after, making sure they're getting the right information that they need.
