sales to Russia of something like alumina, which, as we know, is used to made aluminium.

That aluminium, which is smelted in Russia, is then sold to sanctioned weapons countries, weapons companies, which sell weapons and which use weapons on the battlefield in Ukraine to kill Ukrainians.

So the EU takes this very seriously because they believe there's a direct causal link between what's sold and made in Ohanish and the battlefield in Ukraine.

That's also the point that Micheál Martin will be making as well.

And the supply is very important for the EU.

But I think, so that will be the negotiations.

I mean, the sanctions package, which you mentioned, that will be announced today, that will take several weeks to pass because each member state has to be agreed unanimously.

So the argument will be the balance, whether or not we are going to allow Ohanish supply to Russia, but also how would you manage it that you could still supply to the European Union as well.

So it'll be a very complicated issue.

The Irish government has said that they're investigating and they won't obviously be able to present that investigation to Kayakalas today.

But I think they will have to really do the right thing here.

given that Ireland has taken over the presidency of the European Council on the 1st of July and will have to lead by example.

Also at a time when the United States has pulled back on sanctions against Russia on three occasions in the past few months, which means that there is extra pressure to ensure that the Russian economy does more pressure put on that.

I mean, they would argue that they have put on a lot of pressure on Russia, that the Russian economy is in a really bad way.

It is heavily choked, but obviously loopholes have to be applied.

But indeed, yeah, that doesn't require a 21st package.

But also on the battlefield, it's interesting, you do see a lot more heavy weapons and escalation of attacks in Russia.

civilian areas all across Ukraine, in Kherson, in the east, and also all across Kyiv.

The last few months have actually been the worst for the whole four to five years of the Ukraine war in terms of Russian attacks and attacks on critical infrastructure.
