And I'm not saying Pleasant State was bad.
It was just taking everything from me and to be able to just kind of like put that behind me now and also realise that I actually didn't fail.

Like I don't regret it at all.
It's just really freeing, so yeah.

Okay, so I'm going to start with something that's like kind of business basics and less on the emotional side, but it's ditch the vanity metrics, focus on profit, not revenue, which seems so obvious, but...
somehow we got sucked into this, like, I think there's this culture around startups and businesses where it's like, how quickly can you scale?
How much revenue can you get to?
How much of the market can you capture?
And I just think we got sucked into it really quickly.
And, but also it was because that's what everyone was asking us, like,
What's your revenue?
Even when we were looking for investment, like how many customers have you got?
What's your revenue?
People just weren't focusing on profit.
And so we were just โ and I understand that there are periods in a business where you might try to grow aggressively.
And then, yeah, sure, profit can go down.
But this was like constant.
