We had an incredible ride.
Like we grew the business to over 25,000 homes.
About three years in, we raised over a million dollars from a crowdsource funding campaign where our customers and community invested in us.
We had 700 shareholders.
yeah, we saved a lot of plastic from going to landfill.
We helped a lot of people, like we educated a lot around low-tox living.
So we helped a lot of people create more low-tox practices at home.
But overall, yeah, it was just a huge journey.
And yeah, I don't regret that it happened, but I'm excited to talk about what I learned from it today because closing it this month, this is a big transitional period for me.

So I studied journalism at uni and then I went into marketing and I did that because I had this idea that I wanted to start my own business at some point.
I didn't know doing what and I just thought marketing would be a really useful tool for doing that.
That being said, I also love
communicating and anything creative.
So I just kind of went into that avenue, hoping that something maybe like this would eventuate.
But I didn't expect it to kind of blow up like it did.
So Amy, I had just moved.
So my partner and I packed up our lives in Melbourne and went on a trip around Australia.
We got to Noosa and never left, but that's a whole nother thing.
And when I got there, I just started freelancing and marketing.
