So I'd come down like 11pm on the cheapest £20 train, stay at a mate's uni floor, somewhere totally in the wrong direction, but close enough, like Golders Green or something.

And yeah, I did three auditions for drama school, got on the waiting list for Mountview, didn't get in.

Very good drama school.

No, I know, I'd have loved to have gone.

And who knows where that would have taken me.

But my audition, I knew it wasn't the strongest.

I really didn't have enough time or money to put into it.

So I thought, do you know what?

Scrap this.

I'm going to revisit this in a year and do it properly.

But in that year, a bit like I said, my dad was like, well, you better get a job then.
