Whether this was a slip of the tongue by the Iranian supreme leader, he's mentally still very sharp at 86, so he probably knows what he is saying.
It's very significant that he says thousands of people were killed, but he doesn't mean the protesters.
He is saying that the people affiliated with the government were killed.
And Donald Trump keeps changing his word at any second.
And when he thanked the Iranian authorities for not executing
800 people, something that wasn't true to begin with.
There wasn't even a plan to execute 800 people.
And then he comes out and says that he stopped the execution of those people.
