And essentially had a conversation with Guardiola about managing this.

Midway through the season, when people say, well, Broderie's performances are okay, but they're not consistently very good.
And Guardiola said, do you know when he'll be good?

And I think there was a real sense of preparing for this, of this being his everything, of this being the thing that would kind of re-put him, if you like, at the very forefront of everything.
And so much so, and I hate to do this because, you know, what matters is they just won the World Cup, not the other thing.
But given that you asked me specifically about Rodri, I wonder if this puts him back in the frame now of being seen as the best player in the world and a candidate for the Ballon d'Or again.
