Dr. Phil said when we did his podcast, Fill in the Blanks, that his street corner is big.
And he showed Monique Tyler Perry's number and Oprah Winfrey's number because he felt that after hearing everything, that they should have paid Monique to go over there if they wanted her to do that.
Since it wasn't in her contract and he said that he would have her or try to have them on the show.
Needless to say, that never happened.
And we can't blame Dr. Phil for not having them on the show because she didn't want to be treated probably like Monique's parents were treated on her show when she had them on.
But the problem that we had with Dr. Phil was he never called back to say, I tried.
But it didn't happen, especially since he was the one who bring it up.

Monique when she told us privately, it is your right not to promote something for people that you don't owe anything to, and you're not campaigning for an award, that's noble.
Because as Monique, as Lee called, and you can ask Lee, called Monique back and said, bitch, I tried to tell Oprah that you didn't care about no trophies.
