It is fascinating.
And I think it is this thing of us forgetting our history or choosing to forget our history that some white people, and I'm sure it is a minority, feel that the odds are stacked against them in the current dispensation.
And I think it stems from having the odds stacked in your favor for so long that when the playing field is level, suddenly it feels really hard.
It feels like discrimination.
You know?
And it's a realization that is very difficult on a personal level, on a family level.
People who didn't ever have to worry about jobs for their children are now having to worry about jobs for their children in a way they never had to before.
And they're perceiving that, again, a small minority, as persecution when it is just life.
Sometimes life is hard.
Not yet.
It hasn't really had an impact.
It's almost been perceived more as a joke more than anything else because we don't really have any tools to respond to something that just isn't happening.
