I think so in the end, yeah.
I thought we showed good spells in the first half, even 1-0 down.
We looked like we were still in the game.
I think it was disappointing with the first goal, could have been offside, haven't seen it back, but potentially that went against us.
And we always looked to throw on the counter-attack, even though we didn't play our normal free-flowing football in the first half.
We looked like we could cause them problems, so we were confident going into the second half and then the chances they created...
probably through our own fault really more than anything.
They were clinical, I think maybe only four or five shots on goal and they've scored four, so that is the difference at this level when we were punished.
Yeah, well, I think not that it came at a bad time for us, but the Man U and Arsenal games, we put in great performances.
We hadn't had a midweek game.
We hadn't lost players to injuries.
It's been a tough week on that respect.
You know, Lewis Cook suffering a bad injury and Gozzo out today and Callum Wilson.
So that's three players out of the squad in an important game.
And it's been some tough fixtures before today.
We might have showed a little bit of tiredness in the second half.
Like I said, we were punished for that.
Liverpool have got a big squad, they can rotate a lot of players.
We don't have that luxury at the moment, especially with the injuries we've had.
But we'll dust ourselves down, we always do.
