Secretary of State Marco Rubio says the focus will be on students tied to the Chinese Communist Party or studying in, quote, critical fields. Right now, more than 270,000 Chinese students are enrolled in U.S. colleges. Simon Hankinson, a senior fellow at the Heritage Foundation and longtime Foreign Service officer, supports more visa scrutiny.

The police have not named the site that was allegedly being targeted, but they say people at the premises have been informed and they are being offered advice and support. Four of the five men arrested are Iranian nationals. They were held in West London, Swindon, Stockport and Rochdale. The nationality of the fifth, who was detained in the Manchester area, is still being established.
As part of their investigation, officers are carrying out searches at addresses in London, Swindon and Greater Manchester.
After a very rock and roll bust-up, the band are back together. The Who's gigs last month at the Royal Albert Hall in London may have thrilled their fans, But Pete Townsend and Roger Daltrey expressed concern about what they called the evolved drumming style of Zach Starkey, who is the son of the Beatles drummer Ringo Starr. That led to a spat being played out in public.
The band have admitted this blew up very quickly and got too much oxygen. But now they say they back Zach and are moving forward with fire in their bellies.
