In many parts of the Mideast, cardamom is one of the main flavours, things like coffee and so on.

Oh, I was going to say Indian food.
Yes, used a lot in India.
And in China, it's a convalescent tonic.
So they use it when people are building up their digestion after being ill for a long time.
They will often use cardamom.
It's one of my favorite remedies for that.
When people really run low, their digestion isn't functioning.
