You know when people come together and put all their political differences aside?
Correct.
That's kind of scary though.
When we are challenged by an external existential threat, we come together, right?
We saw it happen after September 11th.
Osama bin Laden believed that by flying planes into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, that it would fracture America.
It did the absolute opposite.
Wow.
Right?
because there's one thing greater than my fear of you is the fear of that.
And we saw it during the first rendition of the Cold War.
The fear of the Soviet Union and the nuclear war at the Soviet Union, even though there was politics and there was territoriality and the armed forces and all of the nonsense that still exists today, at the end of the day, we could all agree on one thing, that's worse.
