floor is third line centermen and these guys are useful.
So I like the player.
I think he's more involved than his father was because his father was talented but he wasn't as involved as some people would have liked for those who remember him.
I think Maddox is probably going to have a very good season in Quebec City next year.
He's going to be well surrounded and this is a guy who unfortunately for Habs fans I don't think will slide to 28 but you never know.
Yeah, this is a guy I had in my top 10 in September, and I think it was on some other scouts top 10 list because he was amazing last year as a 16 year old.
In terms of hands and skills, he's probably one of the three or four more skilled guys in the draft.
However, what I didn't like is that in his 17 year old season, he struggled a little bit.
He wasn't as good.
He didn't progress as well, but I still want him into my top 20 because I value talent quite a bit in the draft.
Yeah, it's very hard.
It's a mix of everything.
The only thing that I don't have access to, which I do in junior hockey, but I don't because I don't work in the NHL, is the interview process.
And you know what?
The interview process is something that's quite important.
But I don't have access to this.
So maybe some players would go up or go down depending on this situation.
As for the rest, I value talent a lot.
And when I mean talent, I value skills, but I also value hard work.
