But I see mostly a guy who can play 20-25 minutes a year.
And man, these guys are valuable players.
We see this every year.
That's why I have him at seven.
Yeah, I have him at sixth.
Had he stayed in the WHL, I probably would have had him at two.
Because last year he was like the top 16-year-old defenseman in the world, in my opinion.
And what happened is he went to North Dakota.
And it's a good thing and a bad thing in the sense that it's a good thing because I always like when players get challenged and they play against older player, but the disadvantage for them is that their weaknesses are exposed.
So I know that sometimes we'll have the excuse, oh, well, he's 17, he played against 22-year-old guys, give him a break.
Yeah, in a sense, yes, but at the same time,
The faster you see the weaknesses, the better it is for scouts.
And the weaknesses that I saw were, well, let's call it limitations.
Okay, I'll call it limitations.
I went to see him in person a couple of times on top of watching him on video.
But what I've noticed with this guy, he's a workhorse.
Another guy who can play 20, 25 minutes.
I like him, but offensively, I'm concerned about something.
He takes the puck behind his net.
He carries it across the red line.
