I've got him fed.
I've got him cleaned.
I've got him to bed.
And we're ready for tomorrow.
That was all I was doing.
That's kind of hand-to-mouth living.
That's success.
Do I feel strong?
No.
I feel the weakest I've ever felt.
I feel physically weak.
I feel mentally weak.
And yet all I'm being told is be strong.
I say to people, don't say that to people.
Because they're in the most fragile, disorientating place they have ever been.
And you're going, be strong.
It's like coming up to somebody who's just run a marathon and go, run another 10.
You're like, no, I've got nothing left in me to do it.
But it was, I don't know where it comes from.
It comes back to that thing, I think, where we want people to be okay again.
