The yen rallied about uh twenty, twenty five percent over that period.

A big part of it was uh suddenly the Japanese going, right, we need to hedge.

I I'd I'd take the other side with that.

Ah, interesting.

I I would I think I think Japanese is a great trade.

Yeah.

It's a stock trade.

But I think the real it's a big, big trade, and that really would come down to the big move is an inflationary move.

So Japan has always had a potential inflation problem, but now it's really beginning to take flight.

So not only as measures of inflation rising, but measures of inflation expectation are they were already high by the

way because they rose after the pandemic.

They kinda leveled up.

Yeah.

Now they're rising again.

So so there's a real I think they've got a real inflation problem.

You know, be careful what you wish for in Japan.
