I think you're making a good point.
And at the end of the day, it comes down to the fact that it's really ridiculous that at this point, the law says, as long as you say that we're doing this for political reasons, it's fine.
You just can't acknowledge that it's racist.
We know it's racist, but they know the key words.
So the question is, at what point does the race, do we address the actual racism here?
And I actually had a question for State Rep Jones, which is,
If, as Gavin Newsom said, we do, you know, bring this up a notch in states like California and Illinois, do we even have the ability to basically gerrymander in a way where we would pick up enough seats to counter what the Republicans are doing?
