Because I like just know myself and I know

what kind of person I am and I know what I do when, you know, quote unquote no one's looking.

If that part of me is like at an all time high, I just find that I'm not as susceptible to lifestyle creep.

So in saying that, those are the tips that I have been employing and that I will continue to employ in my journey in New York.

And it's gonna be kind of scary to see like how I m navigate and manage this.

But I also know I'm not the only person in the world that feels this.

And all of us have periods of our lives where, you know, you go from

junior manager to senior manager or you go from like associate to partner and you like keep leveling up in your life and in your career and you go, Wow, do I have to now suddenly look a certain way, dress a certain way, drive a certain car, live a certain lifestyle, send my kids to a certain school?

But the truth is you don't have to do any of those things unless they align with your own money values.

Otherwise, they're just things that you feel like peer pressured to do.

And it is no different from like when we were kids back in the day and everyone had a certain school bag.

In my case, it was the Jan Sports School bag.

And then we had the Country Road tote bag, very popular in Australia and New Zealand school.

schools when I was younger and that's it.

It's just peer pressure.

Everyone just wants to fit in, so we feel like we have to do what everyone else is doing.

But at the end of the day, it is not important.
