But then there's a huge amount of people that really, really are not able for you, are not able to face the level of grief.

So they just pretend it's not happening.

And that's a secondary grief like that is another hurt.

That's another hurt.

No, and it's not contagious.

And pretending it didn't happen or not saying his name, but it's like, oh, well, I don't want to upset you by saying anything.

So I don't know what to say to you.

So I'm better off staying away from you.

Mike, have you any idea how much more hurtful that is?

The fact that you think that there's a second in my life where I'm not upset and I'm not thinking about him and that you need to remind me of what happened, it never leaves.

It's always there.

It's always behind my ears, eyes, behind my ears, behind my eyes, you know.

And yeah, if I could say anything, if you were around a person who is grieving, say that person's name.

And the most important thing you could say is,

Tell me about your person, like, because all you want to do is the only way you can keep them alive is by talking about them and by hiding away from it and other people hiding away from it or ignoring it is ignoring this huge part of your life.

This huge person, just because they're not in their body anymore does not mean they don't exist.
