Yeah, I think we should give Italy a lot of credit.

I think they will leave here this evening gutted that they didn't get a huge missed opportunity from an Italian point of view.

Overall, I don't think we could say that that was the response that Andy Farrell was hoping for.

I agree with what you said, Rod.

I think he did get a response from certain players who came in, but I still thought a lot of the big players just didn't really deliver, particularly across the league.

the 80 minutes obviously we can get on and talk about that some of whom actually were taken off um early i think that is still a concern and again it was the guys a bit like the bench last week who came on and albeit some of them were experienced i thought the bench again today was very good you mentioned uh jack crowley obviously we'll get on and talk about that a little bit more

But I thought Tom O'Toole did very well when he came on off the bench at Loosehead to help lock out the scrum.

I know a lot of the penalties were coming on the tight head side, but someone who knows a lot more about scrummaging just said to me that that was due to the pressure that was coming on on the Loosehead side.

And I thought it was telling when Tom O'Toole came on and fair play to him because he hasn't got a lot of experience at this level on the loose head side.

But what a feather in the cap for Italy to have caused the Irish scrum so many problems.

And I thought Edwin Adogbo as well.
