They're selling coffee 2p cheaper.

So she was very thrifty.

And when we got back from a shop, she'd make us put everything away and take the receipt and mark each off on the receipt.

I think, you know, teaching is a value of money, keeping us involved and everything.

She was a teacher, you know, that was what she was trained to

Yeah.

Yeah, I mean, there were two of those conversations.

The first time when she had the mastectomy, when I was nine, and then she said, it will be all right, and she was very matter-of-fact and reassuring.
