Well, I think it happens for two reasons.
One is that the club has to be successful.
I think when a club is successful, then the manager of England, a manager, the manager... And who was the manager in those days?
Alf Ramsey yeah and then that was the first thing so he would be looking at West Ham we won the cup and the cup wins the cup so we were very noticeable of course and I think the second thing is Alf Ramsey's style of play which was basically a 4-4-2 was similar to our West Ham so he picked the same style which was basically a 4-4-2 like he had at Ipswich and I think that's part of it as well
