And a cross has to be very accurate for a centre-forward scorer to go anywhere other than that, you're not going to score it.

Brilliant cross, enabling me to glance ahead or across the goalkeeper to score the goal and win the game.

at the start of the tournament when i didn't start the tournament roger and jimmy played i sat on the bench and i wasn't disappointed or felt um left out left out or whatever term you want to use and i just i was actually happy to be there i was happy and thrilled to be part of an england world cup squad that's hosting the world cup in her own country that's how i felt so importantly when your time comes i was ready to participate

And this is human nature.

You see people in business and in life where things go against them.

And then when their chance comes, they're not ready mentally or physically, not just in sport, in any walk of life.

And I think that I was just ready to take my opportunity because that's how I felt not being picked to start with.

I was happy to be there and these 22 great players.
