Certainly from my angle, every single player on that field on the day were fantastic.
yes we played golf I touched on we played golf I'm in touch with a lot of them and the wives for many years after Jack Charlton started us playing golf every year so we played golf the wives came along and went shopping so the wives got to know the players like the Bobby Charlton story and that togetherness was so strong it lasted for many many years after it wasn't just the football togetherness and we all went our separate ways we were together annually I'm guessing for about 10 years afterwards
There is some research.
There was a guy in Scotland, I think, I'm not sure his name, Willie Stewart, I think, who's done some research and would say that
players who had headed the ball were three and a half times more likely to suffer with dementia but that is certainly not the whole issue because as we know there are many people who suffer with dementia men and women who have not been anywhere near football
And I do some work for Alzheimer's and one of their strap lines is that they're saying now that people are born today, one in three are likely to get dementia, which you look at that stat, that is astounding.
And that's certainly not one in three people born today can be heading a football.

Maybe I'm easy.
It's how you see me, yeah.
You're consistent.
It's how a person sees you as opposed to how you feel about yourself.
No.
Are you difficult to live with?
No.
Don't ask my wife that.
She's put up with me.
She's the matriarch.
