And so it's an extraordinary thing to be back on stage looking at the audiences going, we thought you were done.
I've done two shows.
I did a show called August in England, which is about the Windrush scandal.
And it was funny, but it was also moving about the tragedy of it.
And what happened was quite a lot of Jamaicans came to see that show because it was in Shepherd's Bush and they joined in with the show.
Brilliant.
So every time I do like a bit and they go, yes, that happened to me as well.
Tell them Lenny.
And many, many nights, preach Lenny because that is true.
So I thought, well, that's funny.
The audience are interacting with me.
And then I did every brilliant thing, which Daniel Radcliffe was just nominated for a Tony for at the Soho Place Theatre.
And again, you know, people came to see that and they wanted to talk to me as Lenny.
I had to keep saying, no, I'm not.
I'm a character in the play.
It's not Lenny from Tiswas.
It's a character in the play.
But they really enjoyed the show and they loved that I had this interaction with the audience.
And I just thought, maybe I should do stand-up again.
