You know, I rocked up to her house.
few years ago and she had one that had been torn down the side and she'd sort of safety pinned it up.
But she's just sort of pillowy and lovely and she would sort of scoop you up and she prayed, she prayed a lot.
And my Auntie Ira, she is a magnificent cook and she came and she fed everybody and just cooked up a storm.

I mean, she grew up in India.
Even though she's ethnically not Indian, she's culturally had that feeling about her in that she would follow me everywhere and feed me with her hand.
She would never want me.
I would never have to do anything in particular other than just exist and be myself.
And she would just follow after me.
And if I was hungry, she'd put food in my mouth.
And so long as she knew where I was, she was happy with me to do exactly what it was that took my fancy, which was great for me.
I mean, what a way to grow up.
Great, but also a burden, I imagine, in some ways.
Yeah.
Well, yes.
I mean, she would... When I got a little bit older, she really needed to know where I was.
And this was the mid-90s and there was no mobile phones.
So we didn't have mobile phones that she could call.
She would have loved a mobile phone.
