When we were talking about Wemby, you said that was your preseason pick to win MVP.

So like us, you make a lot of preseason predictions.

Was there a team you just were completely wrong about?

From one side or the other, you thought were going to be amazing and have failed, or obviously you thought were going to stink and have sort of impressed you?

Yeah.

I mean, obvious kind of on both sides, but Orlando, you know, I was pretty high on after the Bain move and boy, nope.

Paolo is probably the number one recipient of slander across basketball, Twitter this year, possibly not where you want to be, especially when you're a former number one pick, you know, it's still pretty young.

So I didn't necessarily see all that coming and I'm a really big France guy and it just doesn't feel like, you know, maybe we've gotten peak France either.

So it's not all Paolo's fault.

And I do feel like Paolo takes most of the heat for that group.

I thought they were going to be really good though.

And you know, like 50 plus wins and sailing and just really hasn't been the case.

The other one though, is I was all in on, okay, C 70 plus wins.

I did a big story about it when they were 24 and one, I was, you know, going through history, trying to compare them defensively to all these other teams.

You know, of course you can't always predict the injury bug and maybe I should have, because they had such a long and grueling playoffs last year and they took last regular season really seriously too.

You know what?

There wasn't a lot of nights off for them last year, but it feels like it's all really caught up with them.

And doesn't that 70, 74 wind talk feel like an awful long time ago at this point, even though we're, we're still in February, but man, I was pumping that thing as recently as November and boy, it went poof pretty quick.

Do you have a favorite solution, Ben, to fixing tanking, which has been obviously, you know, in the media here over the last couple of weeks, a whole lot of tanking talk and everybody's got an idea.

Do you have one where you're like, yeah, let's try that or that, or even a drastic one where you're like, you know what?
